Can you fit all your single-use waste into a mason jar?
Join the Zero Waste Challenge and find out! Choose your challenge length — 7, 14, or 30 days — and commit to collecting all your non-recyclable, non-compostable single-use waste in a single jar. It’s a visual and impactful way to rethink your habits and reduce your footprint.
Prizes awarded for:
- Smallest jar
- Most creative waste-reduction hack
- Best social media post
- Random draws for all who complete the challenge
Submit a photo of your jar and a short reflection at the end of your challenge.

Refresh your wardrobe sustainably! Bring gently used clothing to swap and discover new-to-you pieces. The Office of Sustainability will provide racks and hangers to display items, and all leftover clothing will be donated to local organizations.

- Bring 1–5 items to swap
- Take up to 5 items home
- All styles and sizes welcome!

Get crafty with sustainability! Join the USSU, The Sheaf, and the Office of Sustainability for a creative evening using recycled newspapers to make art and useful items. Choose from different stations and explore how reuse can be fun and functional.
